Lavender is one soap that I thought I would never make as its personally my least favorite scent. To me it just seems basic. But I don’t make soap for just me and customers kept asking for lavender…….So I came up with a lavender soap that is far from basic. I use lavandin essential oil which smells similar to lavender but has a more herbal, camphor-like undertones & I incorporate rosemary essential oil into the mix. Colloidal oatmeal is added to help folks with dry sensitive skin. To help give the soap some aesthetic flair the bottom half of the bars are made purple. The purple colour comes from a botanical infusion containing alkanet root.
Fun fact.. when the soap is first cut the purple is blue. As the soap cures the colour slowly changes to purple
Saponified oils (extra virgin olive oil, Coconut oil*, Shea butter*, Caster oil), Coconut Milk, Alkanet root, Colloidal oatmeal, Lavandin essential oil, Rosemary essential oil

Soaps are 4 oz wet weight. What does this mean? This is the weight of the soap before it cures. During the curing process the moisture evaporates out if the bar leaving you with a harder longer lasting bar of soap!
Handcrafted cold process soap made with intention & a lot of love. All of my products are made by hand in small batches. I LOVE working with botanical infusions, wild crafted plants and herbs, small makers, producers, and growers for local ingredients. There will be slight variations to the colour and apprentices of the products
